Types of electronic signature in Dominican Republic
Electronic signature
Electronic data that identifies the signer and expresses consent (Law 126-02). Valid for private contracts with reliability evidence, such as Firmiu's audit trail.
Secure digital signature
Issued with a certificate from a certification entity authorized by INDOTEL. It is presumed valid and grants full equivalence with a handwritten signature.
